Corporate Philosophy

Junno Design is a collaboration between Junn Chee, an industrial designer from Malaysia, and Anton Nöffke, a South African national with extensive management and sales experience.

Sharing a love of nature and good design, they want to contribute to the preservation of the dwindling rainforests in Southeast Asia by creating products that reuse wood recovered from old houses and buildings in Malaysia. Their business concept is to be environmentally friendly, use recovered materials wherever possible, and express this in contemporary design products that blend various cultural influences and natural elements.

Junno Design was founded in Ipoh, Malaysia, and began producing cutting boards and furniture made from salvaged wood under the Tree&Co brand in 2012. In October 2016, Jun and Anton were selected as a promising startup by the city of Fukuoka, Japan, and in December of the same year, Jun and Anton relocated to Japan and established Junno Design in Fukuoka, Western JapanLLC.and in February 2017 began manufacturing wood and leather care products (waxes, oils, applicators) in Japan.

Junno Design LLC will be in 2018.WOOD FOODtrademark from the Japan Patent Office, and the brand continues to expand and gain attention in Japan, Europe, and other markets.

In 2021, we will establish a branch office in Seoul, Korea, and launch a Korean-language website www.woodfood.kr We have started to sell woodfood products.
